近日又有两个学术机构购入爱如生四库系列数据库，一是位于北京的故宫博物院，一是位于杭州的浙江省社会科学院。故宫博物院是爱如生数字产品的老用户，以前曾先后购入爱如生中国基本古籍库和中国方志库；浙江社会科学院则是爱如生数字产品的新增用户。

爱如生四库系列数据库是围绕清修四库编辑制作的巨型全文检索版古籍数据库，其价值不仅在于全面展示清修四库作为文化盛事和文化浩劫的双重影响，而且集中汇聚了现存清修四库时的九千种历代典籍，堪称文献渊薮，珍本集林。目前四库系列数据库的用户还不多，国内仅有故宫博物院、浙江社会科学院、西北大学和香港大学四家，国外仅有美国哈佛大学（Harvard University）、斯坦福大学（Stanford University）、加州大学伯克利分校（University of California-Berkeley）三家。希望更多的国内外学术机构重视和利用这一重要数字产品。

Two More Institutions Purchased Series Database of Sikuquanshu

Recently, two academic institutions have purchased Series Database of Sikuquanshu. One is the Palace Museum in Beijing, and the other is the Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences in Hangzhou. The Palace Museum is an old user of Erudition’s digital products. It has purchased Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books and Database of Chinese Local Records before. Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences is a new user of Erudition’s digital products.

Erudition Series Database of Sikuquanshu is a huge full-text retrieval version of ancient books database, which is edited and produced according to Sikuquanshu revised in Qing dynasty. Its value lies not only in fully displaying the dual influence of Sikuquanshu revised in Qing dynasty as a cultural event and cultural catastrophe, but also in gathering 9,000 kinds of ancient books from past dynasties when Sikuquanshu was revised in Qing dynasty. It can be regarded as a source of literatures and a collection of rare editions. At present, there are only four users of Series Database of Sikuquanshu in China, including the Palace Museum, Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences, Northwest University and Hong Kong University, and three foreign universities including Harvard University, Stanford University and University of California-Berkel. It is hoped that more academic institutions at home and abroad will attach importance to and make use of the important digital products.
