日前，华东师范大学下单，一次购入两个爱如生大型数据库：一个是全文检索版中国近代报刊库要刊编第1、2、3辑，一个是主题检索版晚清民国大报库的8种大报：大公报、民国日报、顺天时报、晨钟报晨报、京报、中央日报、红色中华新中华报、新华日报。华东师范大学以前曾先后购入爱如生中国基本古籍库、中国方志库初集、申报数据库，加上此次购入的二库，华东师范大学拥有的爱如生数字产品共5库7集，成为爱如生数字产品在上海地区的第二个大客户，另一大客户是复旦大学。

顺带说明的是，爱如生晚清民国大报库是个很有价值的数据库，其亮点有三：1、全库计划收录20种大报，基本上把中国1872-1949的主要报纸一网打尽，有此库在手，研究近代中国所需的新闻资料大体齐备；2、全库可实现跨报检索、单报检索，时间检索、期号检索、版页检索、篇目检索、作者检索，并可精确检索、模糊检索、关联检索，检索速率毫秒，检索结果以红点标明于报纸影像，极便查阅；3、全库将逐步升级为全文检索，目前已完成升级的有申报、大公报、红色中华新中华报、新华日报，明年预定完成升级的有民国日报、顺天时报、晨钟报晨报、解放日报，客户只需补足差价即可实现升级。所有这些都是市场上其他同类产品无可比拟的，欢迎各学术机构关注和购置。

East China Normal University Purchased Two Large Databases

Recently, East China Normal University ordered two large databases of Erudition at a time: one is the full-text retrieval edition of Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals（important journals I, II and III）, and the other is the thematic retrieval edition Database of Chinese Historical Newspaper (1872-1949): Dagong Daily, Minguo Daily, Shuntian Times, Chenzhongbao Morning Daily, Beijing Daily, Central Daily, Red China New China Daily, Xinhua Daily and so on. Eastern China Normal University has purchased Erudition Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books, Database of Chinese Local Records I and Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals（ShenBao) before. In addition to these two databases bought this time, East China Normal University has 5 databases and 7 collections of Erudition’s digital products, which has become the second major customer of Erudition’s digital products in Shanghai. Another major customer is Fudan University.

Moreover, Database of Chinese Historical Newspaper (1872-1949) is a valuable one. Its three highlights are as follows: 1. The whole database plans to collects 20 kinds of newspapers, basically covering all the major newspapers in China from 1872 to 1949, and having this database is generally complete for users to study the news materials needed in modern China; 2. The whole database can achieve cross-newspaper retrieval, single-newspaper retrieval, time retrieval, issue number retrieval, page retrieval, content retrieval, author retrieval, and accurate retrieval, fuzzy retrieval, association retrieval with retrieval rate of milliseconds, and the search results are marked on the newspaper image with red dots for easy access; 3. The whole database will be gradually upgraded to full-text retrieval, and the newspapers- Shenbao, Dagongbao, Red China New China Daily and Xinhua Daily have completed upgrade. The newspapers which are scheduled to complete the upgrade next year, including the Minguo Daily, Shuntian Times, Chenzhongbao Morning Daily and Jiefang Daily. Customers only need to make up the difference to complete upgrade. All these products are unparalleled in other similar products on the market. All academic institutions are welcome to learn and purchase these databases.
