近日爆出一大喜讯，位于南京的科技和教育重镇-东南大学，通过招标，购入爱如生中国基本古籍库。东南大学前身是国立中央大学，目前是国家双一流建设的重点大学。东南大学的代表性学科是电子、通信、建筑、交通、生物等工程技术，但是近年来人文、艺术等学科建设也有突破性进展。正是在这一背景下，东南大学积极加强人文、艺术等学科的数字资源建设，不惜巨资购入中国基本古籍库。在此，我们要特别感谢东南大学人文、艺术等学科的学者和东南大学图书馆的领导，我们将提供最好的服务协助东南大学广大师生充分利用中国基本古籍库，使其在东南大学的双一流建设中略尽绵薄。

值得注意的是，截至今日，购入中国基本古籍库的国内客户已达125个，其中以科技工程学科著称的大学12个，占到10%，且其中不乏如清华大学、上海交通大学、中国科学技术大学等中国最好的大学。相信随着教育界越来越重视人文精神建设，中国基本古籍库将步入更多的理工科大学。

Southeast University Purchased Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books

Recently, good news comes out that Southeast University, a key scientific and technological university in Nanjing purchased Erudition Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books through tender. Southeast University, formerly the National Central University, is currently a key university on list of “Double First-Class” university. The representative disciplines of Southeast University are electronics, communications, architecture, transportation, biology and other engineering technologies. However, humanities, arts and other disciplines have also made breakthroughs in recent years. In this context, Southeast University actively strengthens the construction of digital resources in humanities, arts and other disciplines, and spares no expense in purchasing Erudition Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books. Here, we would like to thank the scholars of humanities, arts and other disciplines of Southeast University and the leadership of the library of Southeast University for their efforts in supporting our products. We will provide the best service to assist the teachers and students in Southeast University to make full use of Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books so as to contribute to Southeast University’s construction of “Double First-Class” university.

It is worth noting that up to now, 125 domestic customers have purchased Erudition Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books, including 12 universities famous for science and technology engineering, accounting for 10% and many of them are the best universities in China, such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and University of Science and Technology of China. It is believed that with more attention paid to the construction of humanistic spirit in the educational circle, Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books will be available to more users in universities of science and engineering.
