近日，山东泰山学院通过招标，一次购入两个爱如生大型数据库：中国基本古籍库和中国方志库初集二集。此前山东省共有三个爱如生数字产品用户，即山东大学、山东师范大学、山东省图书馆，泰山学院的加入，使这一数字增加为4个；而且按照拥有爱如生数字产品的数量计算，泰山学院2库3集，仅次于山东大学的3库5集，在山东省内名列第二。泰山学院并不是富裕的院校，但是泰山学院的学者们有学术远见，愿意克服困难，拿出有限的经费建设优质数字资源，令人钦佩。祝愿泰山学院在数字资源的襄助下，实现文科教学与研究的学术腾飞。

Taishan University Purchased Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books and Database of Chinese Local Records

Recently, Shandong Taishan University purchased Erudition’s two large databases at one time through tender: Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books and Database of Chinese Local Records I and II. Before that, there were three users of Erudition’s digital products in Shandong Province, namely Shandong University, Shandong Normal University, Shandong Library, and now Taishan University becomes the fourth user of Erudition’s digital products. Moreover, according to the number of Erudition’s digital products, Taishan University has two databases and three collections, which is second only to Shandong University's three databases and five collections, in Shandong Province. Taishan University is not a wealthy institution, but it is admirable that academic vision and willingness of scholars in this university overcame difficulties and spent limited funds to build high-quality digital resources. I wish Taishan University, with the help of digital resources, a leap forward in teaching and research of liberal arts.
