全球最著名的国家级图书馆——美国国会图书馆日前下单，一次连购爱如生中国方志库初集和二集。美国国会图书馆是美国第一批爱如生数字产品用户，早在2011年就已购入爱如生中国基本古籍库，其后又购入中国近代报刊库大报编申报，加上此次购入的中国方志库初集和二集，美国国会图书馆拥有的爱如生数字产品已达三库四集。

需要指出的是，在诸多爱如生数字产品中，中国方志库最受美国学界的重视。截至今天，中国方志库的美国用户已达22个，并且几乎囊括了美国所有重要的学术机构，如私立名校哈佛大学（Harvard University）、耶鲁大学（Yale University）、普林斯顿大学（Princeton University ）、哥伦比亚大学（Columbia University）、芝加哥大学（The University of Chicago ）、康奈尔大学（Cornell University)、斯坦福大学（Stanford University）、范德堡大学（Vanderbilt University）、西北大学（Northwestern University）、纽约大学（New York University）、宾夕法尼亚大学（University of Pennsylvania）、圣路易斯华盛顿大学（Washington University in St. Louis）等，公立名校加州伯克利大学（University of California-Berkeley）、华盛顿大学（University of Washington）、密歇根大学（University of Michigan）、印第安纳大学（Indiana University）、匹兹堡大学（University of Pittsburgh）、德克萨斯大学(University of Texas at Austin)等。美国学界在有关中国数字资源建设中的这一动向，值得国内学界关注和思考。

Library of Congress Purchased Database of Chinese Local Records I and II

The Library of Congress, one of the world's most famous national libraries, has ordered Erudition Database of Chinese Local Records I and II at one time. The Library of Congress of the United States is the first users of Erudition’s digital products. As early as 2011, it has purchased Erudition Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books and Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals（ShenBao). With Database of Chinese Local Records I and II, the Library of Congress has three databases and four collections of Erudition’s digital products.

It should be pointed out that among the other Erudition’s digital products, Database of Chinese Local Records is the most important one in American academic circle. Up to now, Database of Chinese Local Records has 22 users in the United States and includes almost all the important academic institutions in the United States, such as Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University and Columbia University. University of Chicago, Cornell University, Stanford University, Vanderbilt University, Northwest University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Washington University in St. Louis, University of California-Berkeley, University of Washington, University of Michigan, Indiana University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Texas at Austin, etc. This trend of American academic circle in the construction of digital resources in China deserves the attention and consideration of domestic academic circle.
