Good Year End- City University of Hong Kong Purchased Database of Dunhuang Documents

Near the end of 2017, Erudition’s digital products ushered in a new sales rush. Recently, City University of Hong Kong placed an order to purchase Database of Dunhuang Documents I, becoming the first user of this database in Hong Kong. Generally speaking, Hong Kong is a commercial paradise and academic desert. In fact, this is superficial. Apart from Hong Kong's advanced position in the field of science and technology, there is also Mr. Rao Zongyi who has made a great academic contribution in the field of Dunhuang studies. The purchase of Database of Dunhuang Documents by City University of Hong Kong shows that Dunhuang studies are still active and valued in Hong Kong. It is hoped that Database of Dunhuang Documents I, II, III, IV, and V will contribute to the study of Dunhuang by Hong Kong scholars. By the way, City University of Hong Kong is an old customer of Erudition’s digital products. It has purchased Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books and Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals (ShenBao). Database of Dunhuang Documents is the third Erudition’s digital product owned by City University of Hong Kong.
