时近2017年岁末，爱如生数字产品又迎来新一轮销售高潮。日前，位于成都的四川师范大学下单，购入爱如生中国方志库二集，加上此前已经购入的中国方志库初集和中国基本古籍库，四川师范大学拥有的爱如生数字产品共计2库3集。虽然不算很多，但就其财政能力来说，已经很不容易。也是多年绸缪，一朝决断，令人感动。目前国内还有许多单位没有买爱如生中国方志库，另有几个单位买了初集后没有再买二集。众所周知，历代方志是最重要的传统文化资源，不利用历代方志是不可能进行高水平的学术研究的；而只用初集2000种方志，无论就其所涉及地域或是其所包含的信息量都是远远不够的。要避免陷入孤陋寡闻，就应该下决心配齐五集10000种方志。爱如生预定明年推出中国方志库三集和四集，届时已出版的全文检索的数字方志将达8000种，一起购买未免财政压力过大。希望有心的单位能及早规划，分散压力。总之，既然不买不行，何不早买早用呢。

Good Year End-Sichuan Normal University Purchased Database of Chinese Local Records II

Near the end of 2017, Erudition’s digital products ushered in a new sales rush. Recently, Sichuan Normal University, located in Chengdu, placed an order to purchase Database of Chinese Local Records II. Apart form Database of Chinese Local Records I and Database of Chinese Local Records I, which had been purchased before, Sichuan Normal University has two databases and three collections of Erudition’s digital products. Although they didn’t buy too many products, they have done a lot to purchase these databases. It's admirable to make a decision at one time. At present, many institutions in China have not bought Erudition Database of Chinese Local Records, and a few others have not bought the second collection after buying the first one. As we all know, the local chronicles of past dynasties are the most important traditional cultural resources, and it is impossible to conduct high-level academic research without adopting them; however, it is far from enough to use only 2000 kinds of Database of Chinese Local Records I, regarding the region involved or the amount of information they contain. To avoid being ignorant, we should make up our minds to use 10,000 local chronicles in five collections. Erudition is scheduled to launch Database of Chinese Local Records III and IV next year. By that time, there will be 8,000 kinds of full-text searched digital local chronicles published. At that time, there will be too much financial pressure to buy them at one time. It is hoped that interested institutions can make plan as early as possible to reduce pressure. In a word, since it is impossible not to buy it, why not buy it early.
