中国社会科学院近日下单，购入爱如生中国近代报刊库要刊编第1-2辑和红色历史文献库第1辑，加上以前购入的中国基本古籍库和中国俗文库初集，中国社会科学院拥有的爱如生数字产品共计4库5集。值得指出的是，中国社会科学院此次购入的中国近代报刊库要刊编第1-2辑，是该校近代史所众多学者力荐的结果。近代史研究以晚清民国时期的报纸和杂志为重要资源，而目前国内几种晚清民国期刊数字产品，虽然标榜为“全文资料库”，其实既不全也无录文，不是缺期少页，就是仅有扫描图像，不便利用。爱如生中国近代报刊库要刊编精选1000种晚清民国期刊，力争每种首尾俱全，同时逐字录入，可以进行全文检索，堪称数据最完整、使用最便捷的研究利器。中国近代报刊库要刊编分为10辑出版，每辑100种，现已出版3辑300种，欢迎近代史和近代文化研究机构采购。

Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Purchased Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals（Important Journals I and II）and Database of Red Historical Books

Chinese Academy of Social Sciences recently ordered Erudition Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals（important journals I and II）and Database of Red Historical Books. Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has four databases and five collections of Erudition’s digital products including Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books and Database of Chinese Popular Literature I. It is worth pointing out that thanks to recommendation of scholars studying modern history in this university, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences purchased Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals (important journals I and II). Newspapers and magazines in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic period are important resources in the study of modern history. At present, although several domestic digital products of journals in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic period are labeled as "full-text databases", they are neither complete nor full-text data entry, either short of pages or only scanned images, which are inconvenient to use. About 1000 kinds of journals in the late Qing Dynasty were selected to add into Erudition Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals. Erudition strives to make a complete text for each of them, and to input the whole text word by word, so that they can be retrieved in full text. It can be regarded as the most complete and convenient research tool. Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals is divided into 10 collections, each of which has 100 kinds of books.
