开门红—中山大学购入爱如生中国谱牒库二集

2017年伊始,岭南传来喜讯:位于广州市的中山大学下单,购入爱如生中国谱牒库二集。中山大学作为著名的综合性大学,其文科学术水平在全国居于前列,对于传统文化数字资源的建设也很重视,历年来购入的爱如生数字产品有:中国基本古籍库、中国方志库初集、中国谱牒库初集和二集、中国类书库初集、中国近代报刊库大报编申报等共计5库6集,是广东省拥有爱如生数字产品最多的学术机构,在全国高校中也仅次于四川大学。

中山大学此次购入的中国谱牒库二集,主要内容是明清科举录,包括乡试录、会试录、登科录和硃卷,数量有八千余件,涉及明清两代数万个家族、数十万人的生卒、户籍、迁徙、课业、科名、仕途和交游。经过爱如生独有的数字化技术处理,再配备强大的检索系统,为明清历史文化研究,特别是计量史学研究开辟了前所未有的新局,希望引起国内外学术界的关注。


Good Start- Sun Yat-sen University Purchased Database of Chinese Genealogy II


At the beginning of 2017, good news came from Lingnan: Sun Yat-sen University, located in Guangzhou, placed an order for the purchase of Database of Chinese Genealogy II. As a well-known comprehensive university, Sun Yat-sen University ranks first in the country in its liberal arts academic level and attaches great importance to the construction of digital resources of traditional culture. Over the years, it has purchased such digital products as Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books, Database of Chinese Local Records I, Database of Chinese Genealogy I and II, Database of China Ancient Encyclopedia I, and Database of Chinese Modern Periodicals (ShenBao), totaling 5 databases and 6 collections. Sun Yat-sen University is the academic institution with the largest number of Erudition’s digital products in Guangdong Province, and is second only to Sichuan University in the national universities.

Sun Yat-sen University purchased Database of Chinese Genealogy II. The main contents are the imperial examination records of Ming and Qing Dynasties, including the rural examination records, the metropolitan examination records, the entrance examination records and Zhu Juan. There are more than 8,000 pieces in number, involving tens of thousands of families in Ming and Qing Dynasties, hundreds of thousands of people's birth and death, household registration, migration, schoolwork, subjects, official career and travel. After adpoting the unique digital technology processing of Erudition and the powerful retrieval system, it opened up an unprecedented new environment for the study of history and culture in Ming and Qing Dynasty, especially the study of metrological history, hoping to attract the attention of the academic circles at home and abroad.
