2019年8月26日下午，韩国檀国大学校参访团一行十七人到访北京爱如生数字化技术研究中心，受到刘俊文教授和国际交流部的热情接待。

檀国大学校（Dankook University）位于韩国龙仁市，成立于1947年11月3日，是韩国著名的私立综合性大学，设有25个学部和系，共100个专业，其中东方学（包括韩国学和汉学）研究成就突出，所编多达50万个辞目的《汉韩大辞典》，是公认的世界上规模最大、水平最高的一部韩文汉学工具书。

此次来访的檀国大学校十七人参访团阵容很强，有该校东洋学研究院院长金文植教授、汉文教育研究所所长金愚政教授、人文韩国支援事业研究所裴银汉教授、汉语言文字学研究员許喆博士等八位中国文化专家和计算机专家，还有相关专业的博士生和硕士生。

檀国大学校参访团首先介绍了该校利用AI技术进行韩国汉籍数字化的计划和取得的进步，随后刘俊文教授也介绍了爱如生在中国古籍数字化方面所做的工作和在利用AI技术方面所作的探索，双方都感到大有裨益，表示要在今后加强交流与合作。

A Group of Dankook University Visited Erudition

On the afternoon of August 26, 2019, a delegation of 17 members from Dankook University visited Beijing Erudition Digital Technology Research Center, and was warmly received by Professor Liu Junwen and the Department of International Communications.

Dankook University, located in Yongin City, South Korea, was founded on November 3, 1947. It is a well-known private comprehensive university in South Korea, which has 25 divisions and departments, with a total of 100 majors. Among them, outstanding achievements have been made in Orientalism (including Korean studies and Sinology). The university compiled up to 500,000 items in Korean Chinese Dictionary, which is recognized as the largest and highest level Korean Sinology reference book in the world.

The 17-member delegation of Dankook University has a strong lineup, including 8 experts on Chinese culture and on computer, such as Professor Kim, Moon-Sik, Director of Academy of Asian Studies, Professor Kim, Woojung, Chief of Han-Character Education Research Center, Professor Bae Eun Han of Humanities Korea Project Research Center, and Ph.D Heo, Chul, a Senior Researcher of Han-Character Education Research Center, and doctoral and master’s students in related fields.

The visiting delegation of Dankook University first introduced the plan and progress of using AI technology to digitalize Korean Chinese books. Then Professor Liu Junwen also introduced Erudition’s efforts in digitalizing Chinese ancient books and exploration in using AI technology. Both sides felt that it would be of great benefit to add AI technology in digitalizing Chinese ancient books in the future and expressed their determination in strengthening exchanges and cooperation in this field.
