2018年3月19日—23日，刘俊文教授率爱如生代表团访问韩国开展学术交流活动。此行的契机，是韩国古典翻译院举办“东亚古籍整理学术研讨会”，邀请刘俊文教授与会并演讲。韩国古典翻译院是韩国教育部下属四大研究机构之一，主要承担韩国古籍的整理和韩译工作。该院自1960年代起，经过近50多年的持续努力，编纂完成了多达500册的《韩国文集丛刊》，翻译完成了《朝鲜王朝实录》、《承政院日记》和《日省录》等历史巨著，并开始进行韩国古籍的数字化和AR翻译软件的研制，堪称硕果累累。此次“东亚古籍整理学术研讨会”有两个主题，一是古籍分类，一是古籍数字化。刘俊文教授在会上介绍了中国古籍数字化的历程，披露了爱如生独有的古籍数字再造技术，受到来自韩国古典翻译院、韩国学中央研究院、高丽大学等学术机构的数十位学者的高度评价和热烈欢迎。会议前后，韩国古典翻译院院长辛承云教授多次会见爱如生代表团，就双方深化交流问题进行了富有成果的探讨。会议间隙，刘俊文教授接受了韩国通讯社的采访，并回答了记者有关中国基本古籍库的提问。同时，刘俊文教授还率爱如生代表团顺访了位于首尔的韩国东北亚研究财团和成均馆大学、东国大学、中央大学，受到韩国著名学者何元洙教授等老朋友热情接待。

Erudition Delegation Was Invited to Visit South Korea to Carry Out Academic Exchanges

Professor Liu Junwen led a delegation of Erudition to South Korea to conduct academic exchanges from March 19 to 23, 2018. The Institute for the Translation of Korean Classics held a seminar on the collation of ancient books in East Asia, and invited Professor Liu Junwen to give a speech on the conference which provided an opportunity for the delegation to visit South Korea. The Institute for the Translation of Korean Classics is one of the four research institutes affiliated to the Ministry of Education of South Korea, which mainly undertakes the collation and translation of Korean ancient books. Since the 1960s, after more than 50 years of continuous efforts, the Academy has compiled up to 500 volumes of Korean Literature Series, translated and completed such historical masterpieces as the Records of the Joseon Dynasty, the Diaries of the Chengzheng Yuan and Rixinglu (A book that records the words and deeds of the later Kings of the Joseon dynasty), and started to develop the digitization of Korean ancient books and AR translation software, which has achieved fruitful results. The two themes of this seminar are the classification of ancient books and the digitization of ancient books. Professor Liu introduced the devepment history of digitalization of Chinese ancient books at the conference, and Erudition’s unique technology of digitalization of ancient books, which was highly praised and warmly welcomed by a large number of scholars from the Institute for the Translation of Korean Classics, the Academy of Korean Studies, and Korean University. Before and after the meeting, Professor Xin Chengyun, Dean of the Institute for the Translation of Korean Classics, met with the delegation of Erudition many times and made fruitful discussions on deepening exchanges between the two sides. During the break of the meeting, Professor Liu Junwen accepted an interview from Yonhap News Agency and answered the reporter's questions concerning Database of Chinese Classics Ancient Books. At the same time, Professor Liu Junwen and his delegation visited the South Korea Northeast Asia Research Consortium in Seoul, Chengkyunkwan University, Dongguk University and Chung-Ang University. They were warmly welcomed by renowned South Korean Professor He Yuanshu and other old friends.
